SELEUKID KINGS. Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.15 g, 3 h), Laodikeia by the Sea. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. [BAΣIΛΕΩΣ] - ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟ[Y] Zeus seated left on a throne with a back, holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; below eagle, dolphin left above monogram; below throne, monogram of ΠΑ. HGC 9, 29b. SC 358.6b. Nicely toned. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
